In the context of strengthening educational cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of qualifying and empowering teachers between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly United Arab Emirates, the Bahrain College of Teachers received an Emirati educational delegation, including His Excellency Mr. Suleiman Al -Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Professional Development Sector in the Ministry, and His Excellency Dr. Mai Laith Al -Taie, Director of the Emirates College of Educational Development , And a number of ministry and college officials.
The delegation was received by Professor Nawal Ibrahim Al -Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Chairman of the College’s Board of Directors, along with Professor Suha Saleh Hamada, Director General of School Affairs, and Dr. Lucy Bailey, Dean of the College.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al -Khater praised the visit of the brotherly Emirati educational delegation, stressing that this visit comes within the framework of the fruitful educational partnership of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which aims to exchange experiences and enhance best practices in the field of preparing and developing teachers.
She said: “We believe that investing in preparing teachers and developing their skills is an essential pillar to improve the quality of education, and these visits provide important opportunities to discuss successful experiences and exchange knowledge, in a way that contributes to building more advanced and sustainable educational systems.”
For their part, members of the Emirati delegation expressed their admiration for the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of promoting the quality of education and the empowerment of teachers, stressing the importance of these meetings in strengthening educational partnerships and exchanging knowledge, and stressing that the qualification of teachers represents the cornerstone of raising the level of education and achieving an advanced future vision for the educational sector in the region .
