The Kingdom of Bahrain embraced an exceptional event with the participation of more than 400 senior scholars, leaders, religious references and Islamic institutions from all over the world, during its hosting of the “Islamic -Islamic Dialogue” conference on February 19 and 20, under the kind patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa The King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, and in the presence of the Honorable Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders.
Participants in this conference met on the land of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a country of peace and coexistence, under the slogan “one nation and a common destiny”, to discuss ways to unify the Islamic ranks and enhance brotherhood among the people of the nation to confront the common challenges, which is the approach that the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen, led by His Majesty the King, may God protect him And his sponsors, to consolidate it. These values were demonstrated during the speech of His Majesty, may God protect and preserve him, upon receiving the senior guests of the Islamic -Islamic Dialogue Conference, led by the virtue of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, where His Majesty stressed the importance of making more effort to reach the word of hearts, strengthens the bonds, and rejects division and dispute .
In this context, the call of the people of the qiblah: one nation and a common destiny, “which establishes the unity of the Islamic nation, and affirms the necessity of understanding and cooperation between Muslims, based on the major participants that bring them together.
This call was widely welcomed by the participating scholars and religious leaders, as it is a practical step to enhance the Islamic brotherhood, as it focuses on documenting scientific and sectarian understanding, launching the freedom of scientific meetings, and confronting the claims of division and sedition, while emphasizing respect for sectarian diversity and stopping all forms of abuse that deepens the dispute Among Muslims.

Dr. Hassan Al -Shafi’i, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al -Azhar and a member of the Council of Muslim Elders, that the Islamic -Islamic Dialogue Conference highlighted the importance of Islamic solidarity among the nation’s scholars, by relying on the common denominators that bring together Muslims, including the unity of the qiblah, the writers and the Messenger, the unity of Islamic values and the common destiny.
His virtue explained that activating this call requires clear mechanisms that enhance understanding between Muslims, with the need to address misleading rumors that raise sectarian differences, stressing that the role of the media is essential in promoting a culture of dialogue and understanding between the sons of the Islamic nation.
For his part, he praised the virtue. Dr./ Osama Al -Azhari, the Egyptian Minister of Endowments, to launch the call of the people of the qiblah, stressing that this initiative represents a historical step towards strengthening Islamic unity, as it lays the foundations of joint understanding between Muslims, and devotes the principles of mutual respect and cooperation, away from sectarian conflicts.
Al -Azhari stressed that His Majesty’s support for this global conference contributed to the consolidation of this call, noting that working to implement the contents of the appeal will contribute to a positive transformation within Islamic societies, through the consolidation of the culture of unity, the promotion of dialogue between Islamic sects, and the achievement of scientific and media cooperation to confront Division and hatred.
