Astronomical researcher Muhammad Reda Al Asfour stated that the crescent of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH will be born on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 3:44 am in the Kingdom of Bahrain time. He explained that the process of investigating the crescent will take place on Friday evening, 29 Shaaban 1446, immediately after sunset at 5:38 pm, where the moon will be at an altitude of 6 degrees, and it will be set at 6:10 pm, which gives it 32 minutes after sunset, a lighting rate 0.5%, and its angle with the sun is estimated at 7 degrees.
Al -Asfour pointed out that the surprise of Ramadan for this year swings between the first and the second of March, relying on the geographical location of the countries and the circumstances of the Crescent’s vision in it, expecting that Saturday, March 1, 2025, is the first day of the holy month officially in the Kingdom of Bahrain and many Arab and Islamic countries, congratulating the Arab nations And Islamic on this occasion, asking the Almighty to return it with good and blessings and to accept from everyone the benefit of deeds.
Al Asfour added that two -thirds of Ramadan this year will be in the winter, while the last third will coincide with the entry of spring on March 20, 2025, pointing out that the month of Ramadan will settle completely in the winter season from next year until 2030.
