American media revealed the abolition of the joint press conference between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Folodimir Zellinski, after the intense meeting that witnessed an argument between the two sides in the White House.
Trump said: Today we held a very purposeful meeting at the White House, and I concluded that President Zellinski is not ready for peace, because he believes that the United States will stand beside Ukraine during negotiations and support its rank at the expense of the other party.
Trump added in a post on his platform Truth Social: I do not want an advantage, I want peace, Zelinski has shown a lack of respect for the United States of America in its sacred office, the Oval Office … he can return when he is ready for peace.
A confrontation between Trump and Zelinski at the White House
American media described the meeting of both sides, as the struggling confrontation between Trump and his deputy, JD Vans with Ukraine President Zellinski at the White House.
Trump told Zelinski: Reducing your voice, you are gambling with a third world war and no profitable papers with you and your situation is very bad, you do not set in peace.
While Trump Zelinski’s deputy JD Verski described his argument with Trump, saying: Did you say thanks even once?
For his part, Zelinski told Trump: I received me at the White House to insult me … Putin wants to take all the land of Ukraine and does not want peace and we need security guarantees.
