Mr. Alaa Madara, President of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, expressed his great pride and pride in the honorable level offered by our basketball team players in the qualifiers for the 2025 Asian Cup, praising the high fighting spirit and the distinguished technical performance that the players showed during the past confrontations, especially in the last match against the Syrian national team Despite the loss in the last moments.
Madar confirmed that the Bahraini team presented a strong match against its Syrian counterpart, as the players showed a high tactical commitment and a competitive spirit that reflects the extent of the development that our team reached at the regional level.
He added: “Our players have proven that they are responsible, and they were able to keep up with the Syrian national team in a match that was full of enthusiasm and clubs, and despite the challenges we faced, the team performed a performance worthy of the name of Bahrain.”
He pointed out that the opportunity to qualify for the Asian 2025 Cup is still in place, and that the team continues to work seriously to achieve this goal, stressing that the Bahrain Basketball Federation stands with all its capabilities behind the team, and provides him with all the support required to achieve the aspirations of the Bahraini fans.
Madar said: “We are fully confident in the ability of the players and the technical staff to overcome the challenges in the upcoming matches, and we believe that Bahrain is able to extract the qualification card to the Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia. We have a strong team, which includes a distinguished group of players who have proven their worth in various benefits.”

Our national basketball team will play the Asian Cup qualification in the group, which includes the teams of Iraq and India next month.
