Major General Imad Kadwani, the governor of Minya, met today, a delegation from the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, to provide a financial contribution of 750 thousand pounds in the body of purchasing vouchers for food, to support 1500 families of the first families with care on the occasion of the coming of the blessed month of Ramadan.
During the meeting, the governor stressed the importance of the societal role of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank in supporting the most needy groups, praising his effective participation in enhancing development efforts within the province, as it is one of the leading agricultural provinces.
The governor stressed the need to ensure the support of supporters to his entitlements through a precise database, explaining that the Directorate of Social Solidarity was assigned to distribute vouchers before the month of Ramadan, according to a transparent mechanism that achieves justice in the distribution to ensure support for its entitlements.
For his part, Sami Abdel Sadiq, Acting Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, expressed the bank’s keenness to continue its community programs in cooperation with Minya Governorate, which contributes to improving the standard of living of citizens.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Kadwani and Sami Abdel -Sadiq exchanged memorial shields between Minya Governorate and the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abu Zaid, Deputy Governor and Major General, Yasser Abdel Aziz, Secretary -General of the Governorate, and Ahmed Abu Zaid, President of the North Upper Egypt region and Dr. Fathi Hilal, head of the Minya sector.
