Dr. Mohamed Sharif Dawood, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Suez Governorate, announced the success of the implementation of the medical convoy of the eyes, which was organized by the Medical Committee in the Council of Ministers in partnership with charitable institutions, and was held in the Jabaliyat area in the Al -Janayen neighborhood.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Suez Governorate said in press statements that the free treatment convoy of the eyes, presented by the Medical Committee headed by the Council of Ministers with the participation of the Makers of Goodness, witnessed a great demand from the people of Suez in the unit of mountains in the Al -Janain neighborhood, where the number of beneficiaries of the convoy reached 643 citizens.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health added that the cases varied between the work of glasses for 326 cases, the treatment of 393 cases and the operations of 115 cases.

Patients were detected by the most skilled ophthalmologists, and the convoy of Dr. Mary Shahid, Undersecretary of the Directorate, and Dr. Mina Maher, Director of the Basic Welfare Department.

Educational seminars were also organized, in addition to literacy exams. This, and the convoy continues today, Thursday, in its last day, with the Triangle Health Unit, where it is revealed that the card image is brought.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Suez Governorate stressed that Major General Tariq Hamed Al -Shazly, the Governor of Suez, directed the necessity of expanding the implementation of medical convoys in various specialties to provide treatment services and medicines for citizens for free.

He pointed out that coordination is carried out for the implementation of a number of medical convoys in remote and deprived areas, and the areas that include the most needy families, within the framework of the state’s keenness to provide services to all groups.

On the other hand, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health explained that campaigns are currently being implemented by the Preventive Medicine Department on all markets and restaurants to ensure the safety of the food provided to citizens in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan, stressing that these campaigns will continue throughout the month in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
