Donald Trump is heading back to the White House.
Michael Safi speaks to the Guardian’s Washington DC bureau chief David Smith and senior political correspondent Hugo Lowell about what we should expect from “Trump World 2.0”, as Hugo puts it.
“The idea is for him to make good on all of his campaign promises through executive orders, or as many as he can do,” Hugo tells Michael. “You’ll have a few hours between getting into the Oval Office and having to leave for the bunch of inaugural balls to do this. And his team has basically promised that everything we have said on the campaign trail is going to be done by executive order, and if it gets challenged later, it gets challenged later.”
