Henry Cavill welcomes 1st child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso

He may not be The Witcher anymore, but Henry Cavill just landed his very own child surprise — minus the surprise part.

Cavill, 41, and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, 35, have welcomed their first baby together, reports PEOPLE. No additional details have been shared, but photos published by The Daily Mail on Saturday, Jan. 18 see the couple pushing a baby stroller in Australia where Cavill is currently filming a live-action adaptation of Voltron.

Representatives for Cavill did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly‘s request for comment.

The Argylle star confirmed that he and Viscuso were expecting back in April 2024, while attending the premiere of his Guy Ritchie-helmed film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

“I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that,” he told Access Hollywood at the time. True to his promise, Cavill later broke the news to his Instagram followers just in time for Father’s Day.

Then a father-to-be, Cavill shared a snap of himself in front of the baby’s crib, while asking his followers for fatherly advice.

“Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there,” he captioned the photo. “Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips??”

He also referenced the incoming adaptation of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game, which he is producing with Viscuso, adding, “And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures.” 

Viscuso has produced such titles as MTV’s Scream TV series and Spike’s The Mist. She is now the vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, the production company involved with projects including It, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and The LEGO Movie.

Cavill and Viscuso made their relationship Instagram official back in April 2021, when they posed for a photo mid-chess. “Just teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess,” Viscuso joked in the caption. “…or…maybe he let me win?”

The couple have since maintained a lowkey relationship, only occasionally popping up on one another’s social media pages. Cavill did tease a few details of their relationship on the heels of the pregnancy reveal, telling E! News that the couple prefer date nights in the intimacy of their own home, noting that they are “not shy of a kitchen dance party.”

He added, “A bottle of wine goes down range. Obviously not now — but previously.”
