The Great American Family channel has lost one of their own.

Keller Fornes, who starred as Griffin in County Rescue on the family-friendly television network, died Dec. 19, according to an obituary shared by Lacy Funeral Home. He was 32.

“We at Great American Media are deeply saddened by the passing of Keller Fornes,” the network wrote in an Instagram statement Jan. 6. “He was a special person and talent as an actor, writer, and director as well as a singer and musician.”

The statement went on to laud Keller for his work on County Rescue’s first season, during which he appeared in six episodes.

“His energy and enthusiasm lifted all he worked with here at Great American Media and the cast and crew of County Rescue,” the network continued. “Our prayers are with his family and all those he touched.”

According to his obituary, Keller died in his native Texas, where he had also attended the University of North Texas, earning a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. The 32-year-old was described by loved ones as artistic, creating his own independent films, as well as having interests in painting, drawing, singing and playing the guitar.
