How Dax Shepard Reacted to Wife Kristen Bell’s Steamy Scenes With Adam Brody in Nobody Wants This
Everybody wants this update.
Erin Foster‘s hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This—starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell—is coming back for a second season, thanks to its massive success on the streaming platform.
So massive, in fact, that it received three nominations for the 2025 Golden Globes: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Bell and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Brody.
“Creating Nobody Wants This will forever be a career highlight for me,” Foster, the daughter of music producer David Foster, said in an October statement. “The incredible cast, crew, producers and executives all made this into the show it is today, and to experience viewers’ reactions to this series now that it’s out in the world has been more than anything I could have dreamed.”
“I’m so lucky to be able to continue this story,” she continued, “and to do it alongside Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, who I’ve been such a fan of since Girls…Justice for healthy relationships being the most romantic!”
Indeed, the success of the series—which centers on a blossoming romance between an agnostic sex podcaster Joanne (Bell) and rabbi Noah (Brody)—is extra special for Foster, who loosely based the show on her own relationship with husband Simon Tikhman.
