2019 General Election: Shun Violence – Governor Amosun tells Youths

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has urged youths to shun violence and not allow politicians use them to disrupt peace in the State.

          Governor Amosun, who said this during his campaign tour to Opeji Local Council Development Area, urged the people to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), to enable them perform their civic responsibilities and vote in the right candidates.

          According to him, “don’t allow anyone to use you to foment trouble during the elections, if you involve in violence, it will affect you negatively. Tell them to use their children instead”.

          He promised to develop the school and water facilities in the area, calling on them to continue to support his government to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy.

          A residence of the community, Jimoh Lawal, lauded the Governor for the infrastructural development in the State, urging him to do more for the area.
